Black Consumerism: US Blacks as the perfect consumers

US Black people seems to make excellent consumers.

Per capita they are more status concious. They spend more of their income on wants rather than needs.

More status conscious
More brand concious Kraft, Pepsi, Tide, campbells soup
More materialistic
Less happy or satisfied
more prone to believe what they see on TV.

They are maybe more satisified and happy based on materials things.

Are the consumer choice bad ? From who's perspective ?
