Black / Indian intermarriage in the Carribean

Guyanne, Suriname, Trididad, and to a lesser extent Jamaica have Indian populations. There is considerable pressure in the Indian community not to intermarry. What are the current inter marriage rates.

What about the race based political parties

  1. There is considerable pressure in many communities to marry with as many commonalities as possible - especially as it relates to ethnicities, religion, education and economic status. That said, I would like to believe that people with integrity look beyond the obvious commonalities or differences.
